As long as you are outside city limits, aerial fireworks will be permitted in Brown County for the 4th of July fireworks season.
In their Monday morning, Brown County Commissioners did not limit any types of fireworks. “Just because we’ve had a lot of rain doesn’t mean things won’t burn so we want to be very, very careful,” said County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly.
In other business from the 12 minute meeting:
- The Burn Ban remains off in Brown County
- Commissioners approved (5-0) to certify new revenue of $8,500 from TrueCore lease
- They approved (5-0) to budget the new revenue from TrueCore toward the Juvenile Justice Center expenses line item
- Commissioners approved (5-0) an application from Zephyr Water Supply to install a private line on CR 329
- Commissioners approved (5-0) the monthly auditor’s/treasurer’s report from County Auditor, Jennifer Robison.
