Julius “J.A.” Middleton, Jr., 86, of Blanket passed away at his home on Saturday, May 19, 2012, after a short illness. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Tye Cemetery, in Tye, TX. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
J.A. was born May 25, 1925 to Julius A. Middleton Sr. and Freddy Middleton in Whiteflat, Texas. He served in World War II and was honorably discharged April 21, 1946. He as a loving Dad and father-in-law, and loved his grandkids and great -grandkids dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Julius and Freddy Middleton, four sisters, Vivian, Irva, Frances, and Tommie, also 1 brother, Lewis.
He is survived by son, Chris Middleton of Dallas, TX, daughter, Jeana and husband Danny Marney of Bangs, TX, son, Scott and wife Jeanette Middleton of Blanket, TX, 6 grandkids, and 12 great- grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lighthouse Hospice.
