Julia Baker, 90, of Brownwood passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Brownwood. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, August 3, 2014 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Blanket Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Julia Baker was born April 1, 1924 in Coleman County, Texas, to Chester Frank and Myrtle Olive (Newman) Sanders. Julia was a member of the Stewart St. Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of the area.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Baker; his son, Robert Clyde Baker; and a grandson, Robert Carl “Robby” Baker.Julia is survived by her son, Robert C. Baker’s wife, Beverly D., their 3 children and 4 grandchildren; her son, Carl Randall “Randy” Baker and wife Beverly A. Baker, their 3 children and 6 grandchildren; her daughter, Wanda L. Baker, her 3 children, and 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers & 2 sisters residing in San Angelo and 1 sister residing in Dallas and all their descendants.
