God chose another flower for his Heavenly bouquet. Judy Oxford left this world to meet her Lord and Saviour who she loved and served on August 22, 2015. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015, 6 pm – 8 pm at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Her Pastor Kenneth Colgrove will be officiating the service on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 10:00 AM at the Brownwood Evangelism Center.
Her main goal in life was to see her family ready to meet God. She was an intercessory prayer warrior. She loved gospel singing, taking pictures, quilting, sewing, fishing and gardening. She will be missed by her family in a great way.
She was a faithful wife, loving mother, and grandmother, and a great help mate to her sister June. She is now rejoicing in a new body free from pain.
She is survived by her husband Pat Oxford of Brownwood; her son, Dusty Oxford; two grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon; one brother, James Calhoon of Brownwood; two sisters, June Hall of Brownwood, Dorothy Brake of Nashville, Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Louise Tomlinson Calhoon, grandparents, Joe and Cumine Chrane, Bert Tomlinson, Sam & Mandy Calhoon; brother, Donnie Calhoon and a sister, Cleo Carson.
