Judy McDaniel, 55, of Brownwood passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 in her home after a yearlong battle with cancer.
She was born November 10, 1957 in Brownwood to Noel and Violet Fletcher. Judy was married to Jack McDaniel, Jr. on December 28, 1978. Judy was a beloved wife, mother of 2, grandmother, and friend. Judy’s hobby and passions were playing Bingo and gambling. She worked at Wilson Cleaners for 20+ years.
Judy is survived by her daughters Angie Vonderheid and husband Brad of Cedar Park, Pam McDaniel of Beaumont; grandchildren Mayson Stephens, Madison Vonderheid, and Gunnar Griffin; father Noel Fletcher and step-mother Joyce of Brownwood; brother Joe Fletcher of Arlington.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Jack McDaniel, Jr. and mother Violet Watkins. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Jones Chapel Cemetery with Brother John Sterling officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to the Judy McDaniel fund.
