Judith Nell “Judy” Riker was born July 28, 1944 in Brownwood to David and Norma Black Riker. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1962 and from Gary’s Beauty College. She worked at the Janie Clements Industries before moving back to the Rock House in Stephenville where she lived and worked for 26 years. She then spent 2 years at the Mullberry Manor in Stephenville, but was recently moved to be close to her family. Judy loved everyone she met, and did her best to let them know of her generous love.

Judy was preceded in death by her father David Nobel Riker, who was a bomber pilot during World War II, and died serving his country.

She is survived by her mother Norma Nell Riker of Brownwood, and her brother Ron Riker and wife Debbie of Flower Mound, TX, nieces, Lari Foster of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sarah Riker of Flower Mound, nephews, David Riker of Keller, and Brad Riker of Early.

Judy’s family was by her side at Songbird Lodge when she left this earth to live with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday July 7, 2010.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Building Fund at Brownwood First Baptist Church, 208 Austin Avenue, Brownwood, TX 76801.
