Juanita Armendarez Martinez, age 58, of Brownwood passed away Friday, January 11th at Scott & White in Temple.
Juanita was born June 17, 1954 to Simon Sr. and Maria Armendarez. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood, a Fourth Degree Wife with the Knights of Columbus, a member of The Alter Society. Juanita was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her son, Jesse Martinez and wife April of Carrollton; daughter Margaret Uvalle and husband Rafael Jr of Brownwood; 5 grandkids Kellie, Tony, Elida, Esteban, and Josie; brothers Simon Armendarez Jr of Brownwood, Lupe Armendarez and wife Leona of Gainsville and sister Maria Martinez of San Saba.She is preceded in death by husband Phillip, her parents, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Albert officiating. Interment will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 P.M. Sunday with Rosary being held at 7:00 P.M. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to be made to Good Samaritan Ministries.
