JT Gray, age 81, of Lake Brownwood, passed away, Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 24, 1933 in Breckenridge to James Thomas and Dona (Davidson) Gray.
JT married Nina Ruth Henderson on August 28, 1954 in Odessa. He worked for El Paso Products Company in Odessa as a superintendent for 30 years before retiring and moving to Lake Brownwood. JT enjoyed fishing, playing poker, working on just about anything, going to auctions, and spending time with his beloved wife of 56 years.
JT is survived by a daughter, Sharon Worley and husband Thomas, two grandchildren, Lori Laird and husband Dustyn of Brownwood and Chris Worley of Denton, a great-grandson, Caydon Laird, a son-in-law, James Schulte, a brother-in-law, Ed Henderson, and a sister, Sonja Reneau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nina Gray, a daughter, Teri Schulte and two brothers, Paul and Zane Gray.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
