NaronFuneral services for Josie Pauline Naron, 84, of Early will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Heartland Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Burial will be at Lost Creek Cemetery.  The family will greet friends from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014.

Josie passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at CARE Nursing Home.  She was born August 18, 1930, in Fayette County Alabama, to Alexander Tanksley Treadaway and Mirtie Kitchens Treadaway. She was united in marriage to Teddye Alonzo Naron, on July 1, 1950, in Brownwood, Texas.  He preceded her in death on May 28, 2010. They were married 59 years.

Josie was a homemaker and a member of the Haven of Hope Church. She loved her pets, cooking, gardening, and canning. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sweet, gentle spirit, patience, and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond Treadaway, Ewell Treadaway, and Hamp Treadaway. She was also proceeded in death by her honorary son, At All Kite. She is survived by her sister Joyce Wright of Brownwood, honorary daughters Robin Kite, of Sweetwater, and Joey Broussard and husband Lance of Early, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of CARE Nursing Home for the love Josie received as a resident.
