Josephine and Al lived in Dallas for 25 years before moving to Cisco, and finally Brownwood. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Early. Josephine was, according to her husband, Al, an “angel of a wife.” She cared for others far more than she cared for herself. Josephine enjoyed being involved in church. In years past, she was a Sunday school teacher. Josephine also had a very strong passion for gospel music. She and Al were involved in the Cisco Country Opera, which was a production that put on a country/gospel music show. Josephine and Al had a special relationship and enjoyed joking with each other. Al says he couldn’t have been given a more perfect wife, Josephine stood by him through thick and thin. Josephine will be dearly missed by all that knew her.Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Thelma Cottle,
