Jose Garcia, age 61 of Brownwood passed away Saturday May 8, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday May 11, 2010 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Jose Angel Garcia was born November 30, 1948 in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico to Reyes and Lydia Garcia. He married Blanca Ramirez on November 20, 2003. Jose was a member of New Jerusalem Church. He lived in Brownwood all of his adult life. Jose was a dedicated employee at Kohler for 25 years. Jose was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an outdoors person and enjoyed many different activities. One of the things Jose enjoyed the most was playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Garcia’s family would like to express their sincerest thanks to all their friends and family for all the support they have received during this time of grief.
Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Armando Garcia.
Survivors include his wife Blanca Garcia, his daughters; Rosemary Arriaga and husband Armando, Marisol Hernandez and husband Marco, Becky Castro and husband Steven, and Micaela Robledo, his brother Salvador Garcia, his sister Angelica Elizondo, and his grandchildren; Chantalle Arriaga, Angel Arriaga, Christina Hernandez, Marco Hernandez, Jr., Enrique Hernandez, Camila Hernandez, Nayelli Castro, Ezekiel Castro, and Caleb Castro.
