Children of the community are invited to join in and be a part of the “Honor a Hero Children’s Parade” to be held on Saturday, September 18th during the 10th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration.
Children of all ages are invited; their parents, mentors, etc. are welcome to march with them. They are encouraged to make posters honoring their heroes – whether they are part of the military, police force, fire personnel, mentors, cancer survivors – whatever makes them heroes to the kids.
Registration is free and children are asked to dress in red, white and blue. Children are also encouraged to have their own personal heroes march with them in the parade…be sure to write your child’s hero’s name on the registration form in the space provided.Registration will begin at 10:30 at the Citizens Bank drive thru area, and lineup for the parade will be at 11:30.
