Funeral services for Joesphine Huberta Ross, age 92, of Grapevine, formerly of Brownwood will be held at 11 AM Tuesday morning in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Scroggs officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will received friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Mrs. Ross passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 in Grapevine.
Josephine Huberta Mitchell was born December 12, 1921 in Strawn, Texas to Hubert and Edith (O’Neal) Mitchell. She retired from the Brownwood Independent School District and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Brewer Friendship Class.
Survivors include her daughter Vicki and husband, Eric Lendl of Bedford; son-in-law Larry Nunnelee of Brownwood; grandchildren, Neely Ray of Austin, Zack Wristen of Abilene, Tyler Nunnelee of Stephenville and Erica Lendl of Bedford; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Willa Mitchell of Sherman; niece Regina Roberts of Sherman and nephew Kevin Mitchell of Pecos. She was preceded in death by her children, Bruce Ross and DiAnn Nunnelee, her parents and brother, Glen Mitchell.
