Funeral Services for Joe Calvin Blackstock, age 66, of Early, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Jim Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Blackstock passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 in Eastland.
Joe Calvin was born on August 8, 1945 in Brownwood, Texas to Joe and Nancy Maude Benson Blackstock. He served in the United States National Guard and retired from 3M in Brownwood after 32 years. A lifetime resident, he enjoyed building cars, drag racing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
