Jo Ann Mitchell was born on March 14, 1937 in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Eugene Harrison and Mabel Smith Harrison. She attended the New Testament of Holiness Church in Bangs and was a kind, loving, compassionate, caregiver to many less fortunate individuals. Jo Ann passed away on April 12, 2012 at the age 75, in Austin, Texas.
Survivors include her daughters: Anna Lovell and husband, Kevin of Brownwood, and Sherrie Booth of Stephenville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also left behind to cherish her memory are three sisters and one brother. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Hanna Jo Reece and six brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Bangs Cemetery, with Bro. Jerry Sandoval officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Blaylock Funeral Home. Friends may sign the guestbook at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
