JoAnn Futrell, age 78, of Brownwood passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Private Family Graveside Services for JoAnn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, at Rising Star Cemetery. No visitation will be held.

JoAnn was born to Earl and Pearl (Green) Aaron on April 2, 1941, in Rising Star. She was member of Grosvenor Baptist Church. JoAnn enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and collecting rocks. She loved her family dearly and loved being with them.
JoAnn is survived by her 3 daughters, Patricia Lundgren and husband Allen of East Bernard, Barbara Ramos of Brownwood, and Misty Futrell of Brownwood; son, Michael Futrell and wife Zjani of Montana; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Berryman and husband Joe of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a number of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pearl; husband, Bob Futrell; 2 sons, Michael McMillian Sr. and Ricky McMillian; 1 sister, Evelyn Romines; and 2 brothers, Gerald Aaron, Earl C. “Sonny” Aaron.
