Jimmy Clint Moseley, age 77, of Bangs, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ July 24, 2016.
Jimmy was born to Cecil and Elizabeth (Windham) Moseley on August 14, 1938 in Santa Anna, Texas. Jimmy attended Bangs High School and spent the following four years serving in the U.S. Navy before returning to his home state to work as a plumber. He was a master plumber for 49 years and business owner for more than 30 years. He married the love of his life Emma Lou Mize-Moseley on June 28, 1963.
Jimmy was family oriented, quiet and private with a BIG personality that was loving, compassionate, giving and firm. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed bringing a smile to others. He loved to honor and worship his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years; son Jim Moseley and wife Cheri of Mullin, daughter Deborah Bullock and husband Tim of Fort Worth, son Paul Moseley and wife Lessley of Brownwood, son Stephen Moseley and wife Jamie of Belton, daughter Sarah Horton and husband Jody of Bangs and son Ike Moseley of Brownwood. Grandchildren, Samantha Spradling, Donnie Moseley, Brittany Boykin and husband Lath, Amanda Moseley, Tye Moseley, Jasmine Allen and husband Ryland, Jamaal Bullock, Rachel Moseley, Charity Williamson and husband Matthew, Baylen Horton, Morgan Moseley, Cameron Horton, Hope Moseley, Sydney Horton, Libby Moseley and Treasean Moseley. Great grandchildren Ethan Moseley, Olivia and Mason Allen and Laiken Boykin; sisters Hazel Hawkins and Ora Gravell: sister-in-law, Mary Moseley, Celia Moseley and Lucy Coyle; numerous loved nieces and nephews, family and friends; and of course his beloved church family at Grosvenor, Baptist Church.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and mother; sisters, Maxine Moseley and Fran Cranage; brothers Carroll Moseley, Nile Moseley, Lowell Moseley and Leon Moseley.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Barnum officiating. Burial will follow in the Bangs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heartland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be sent to Grosvenor Baptist Church Building Fund.
