Jimmy Auvenshine, 60, of Comanche, passed away in Comanche Saturday October 26, 2013. Funeral services are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche and will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28th in the Heartland Chapel in Comanche. Interment will follow at the Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday the 27th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Jimmy was born April 16, 1953, in Gorman, TX to Grady H and Clara Elizabeth (Keith) Auvenshine. He was employed as a custodian for Middle School as Comanche ISD for about 25 years, where he retired.
Jimmy is survived by a brother, Jackie Auvenshine; a sister, Mary Neel Strong; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Clara Auvenshine, brothers, Benny L and Travis Glenn Auvenshine.
