ConstancioJesusChuyJesus “Chuy” Constancio, age 90, of Brownwood passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Rosary for Chuy will be Friday evening starting at 7 at Blaylock Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Francis Njoku officiating, interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Chuy was born on August 30, 1923 to Jesus and Maxima (Martinez) Constancio in San Saba. He married Sara Varela on December 18, 1943 in Mexico. He worked the wool mill for many years. He was a member and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sara V. Constancio of Margaritas Coahuila, Mexico; two daughters, Celia Vielma and husband Jesus Salvador of San Angelo, and Elvia Ibarra and husband Adan; grandchildren, Rosa Elia Vielma and husband Jesus Silva of San Angelo, David Vielma of San Angelo, Raul Vielma of San Angelo, Jessica Quiroz and husband Jose, Aracely Ibarra and husband Nolberto Martinez, and Adan Ibarra Jr.; sisters, Dora Hurtado of Uvalde, Maria Perez, and Rosa Reyes of Aspermont; and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family members.
