Graveside services for Jessie L. Faries, age 72, of Bangs, Texas will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2017 in the Coleman City Cemetery with Chaplain Bobby Machen officiating under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home of Early. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Faries passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at his residence.
Jessie Lee was born on November 18, 1944 in Coleman, Texas to Jessie and Dora Burton Faries. He was raised in Coleman, was a veteran of the United States Air Force a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years Florence Frye Faries of Bangs; daughters Rhonda Davis of Bangs, Milla McCown and husband Robert of Bangs, Rita Barnett and husband Shane of Coleman; son Ricky Frye and wife Debra of Greenbrier, Arkansas; sister Orphy Laws of Coleman; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Dora Faries; two sisters Birdie Crawford and Buila May Hudson and a brother Wesley Faries.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
