Graveside services for Jesse Carlton, 51, of Brownwood, will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 24, in Greenleaf Cemetery with Bishop Michael Fuqua officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. No visitation has been planned.
Mr. Carlton died on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Jesse Daniel Carlton was born on January 22, 1964, in Brownwood, to Robert Elison Carlton and Annora Reed Carlton. He was raised and attended school in Brownwood and graduated in 1984. Jesse had worked several jobs and had done some welding but his main occupation was trucking. He was a lifelong resident of Brownwood and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.Survivors include his mother, Annora Reed Carlton; two sons, Richard Lynn Gray and Jacob Sterling Carlton; one daughter, Chastity Dawn Olene Garrison; a sister, Anita Kay Ferrer and brother, Robert Lynn Carlton. He was also survived by six grandchildren and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Elison Carlton.
