Jerry Garner, 75, of Comanche passed away at his residence Monday March 22, 2010.
Jerry was born January 17, 1935, in Hermleigh, TX, to Barnabus B. and Anice Myrtle (Roberts) Garner. He attended schools her in Comanche for a while and then worked in the oil field. He joined the United States Army and served one enlistment. He worked in several different lines of work and then began working for a dairy, where he worked most of the time. He lived 50+ years in the Comanche area. His hobbies were socializing with friends, cooking and good food.
Jerry is survived by daughters, Janet Dunn and husband Larry, Pam Garner; son J.J. Garner and wife Janet; grandchildren, Cody and Faith Dunn, and Jolly Garner; sister, Bernice Patterson and husband Frankie “Pewee”; brothers, James Garner, Charles Barnes and wife Constance. He was preceded in death by wife Joyce Bessent Garner; parents, Barnabus and Anice Garner, and brother, Danny Barnes.
