Jerlene Little Funeral services for Jerlene Little, age 83, of Brownwood, will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.
Ms. Little died Friday, December 3, 2010 in Brownwood after a short illness.
Jerlene was born on January 27, 1927 in Brownwood to Raymon and Velma Lawson. She married DW Little on July 10, 1948. She worked and retired as a cook for Central Texas Opportunities Headstart Program.
Jerlene is survived by two daughters, Sandra Gosnell and husband Darrell of Early and Linda Ainsworth and husband Sam of Pineville, Louisiana; two sons Raymond Price and wife Linda of Abilene and Marcus Little of Brownwood; four grandsons, four granddaughters, Kennith Gosnell of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Shayla Gosnell of Early, Derek Little of Brownwood, Cammye Schwing of Brownwood, Clifford Price of Abilene, Suzie Clark of Abilene, Brent Ainsworth of Beaumont, and Laura Nelson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Jerlene was preceded in death by her parents, Raymon and Velma Lawson, her husband, DW Little, two sons, DW “Mickey” Little, Jr., and Mikie Lee Price, a grandson, Jerod Heath Price, and two sisters, Ailene Harris Price and Joyce Gilliam Drew.
