Jeanette “Jet” Kay Orloske, 60, of Brownwood, passed away Monday, December 15 at her residence. Memorial services have been set for 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 22 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Jeanette Kay Novak was born to Harry and Helen Novak in Windom, MN on September 28, 1954. She met and married Gary Alan Orloske her husband of 43 years in Bingham Lake, MN on August 7, 1971. They resided on her husband’s family farm where they were blessed with a son Heath and a daughter Heather. They later started a construction and cleaning service that carried on in 1982 when her and her family moved to the Black Hills of S.D. She expanded her service that included private business and vacation homes as well as staying active in her husband’s growing construction business.
Together they built and lived in two of their homes in S.D. She made many longtime friends that she kept in touch with often. In 2009 she and her husband moved to Brownwood, Texas to be closer to family. They again built a new home on FM 1849, where she continued her cleaning services until she was unable due to health. However she always enjoyed her plants and flowers as well as a garage sale where she could add to her tasteful collectibles. These items were always displayed beautifully in her home. Her memories will live with those who loved her, always.She is survived by husband Gary Orloske, her son Heath Orloske and his daughter Shelby; her daughter Heather, Wife of Joseph Estrada and their two daughters Miranda & Elaina; Brother Larry & wife Jeanne & sister Judy Novak Rand.
