JeanTreadawayJean Harrell Treadaway, age 90, died June 23, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  She was born September 17, 1922 to Oscar and Nola Davis in Bluffdale, Erath County.  She moved to Lake Brownwood where she and her first husband Robert M. Harrell owned Lake Brownwood Fishing Village for many years and later owned Harrell Marine with oldest son Jeff Harrell.  She also worked for Southwestern States Telephone Company.

Survivors include son Robert Jeffrey Harrell and wife Daneilia of Brownwood; 4 granddaughters, Cindy Harrell, Christy Doyal, Kaye Tharp and husband Joe of Brownwood, Tx, Lara Barbiaux and husband Darrell of Granger, Tx; also step grandsons, Jesse and T.J. Treadaway.  She is also survived by great grandchildren, Preslee and Garrett Doyal, Jenna Dean, Ryan, Julia and Mitchell Tharp and wife Kelcy, Wade, Dylan and Brady Barbiaux; a great great grandchildren Kellan Kulp, Maddox Mendoza, Rush Tharp, and Nathan Gaines; stepsons Dennis Treadaway  and wife Debbie, and Mark Treadaway; sister Latrelle Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by first husband Robert M. Harrell, second husband Ewell Treadaway, son Michael Kent Harrell, brother Orval Davis, sisters Lucille Pendleton, Virginia Evans, Georgia Hennessey and granddaughter Ceceilia Kay Harrell.

Service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Heartland Funeral Home.  Burial at Weedon Cemetery.
