A memorial service for Janet Robbins, age 63, of Brownwood, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ.
Mrs. Robbins died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in a local nursing center after a lengthy illness.
Janet Ann Fitzgibbons Robbins was born on December 3, 1949 in Baltimore, MD to Muriel and John Fitzgibbons. Jan graduated from Brownwood High School in 1967, attended commercial college and served in the Naval Reserves.
Jan married Jerrell Robbins on July 2, 1970 in Brownwood. She was a loving wife, mother and friend.Jan is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Jerrell Robbins of Brownwood, daughter, Kelli Robbins also of Brownwood, and two brothers, John Fitzgibbons and wife Kathy of Austin and Don Fitzgibbons and wife Doris of Albany.
Jan was preceded in death by an infant son, Terry Lynn Robbins, her mother, Muriel Fitzgibbons, grandmother, Gertrude Smith, several aunts and uncles, and two nephews.
