Jane Corene Smith 84 of Santa Anna, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 9:18 am at Silverado Beecave in Austin, Texas.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Sam Wilson officiating. Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 3:30 till 5:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.
Jane was born May 5, 1934 in Rockwood, Texas to Melvin Drake & Cora Mattie Burson Bryan. She was a lifetime resident of Santa Anna and was a graduate of Santa Anna High School. Jane continued her education graduating from Baylor Nursing School in Waco, Texas. On November 6, 1953 Jane married Floyd Nathan Smith in Novice, Texas and they celebrated 25 years of marriage. Floyd preceded her in death in 1978. Jane was a member of the Church of Christ & Eastern Star and by profession a Registered Nurse.
