James Brook Weekley was called home on Friday, January 31, 2014. He was born on March 12, 1971 in Austin. He married Sharla Henry on October 6, 2007. He was a bricklayer by trade. He was well known for his love of the University of Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed music, his animals, and the beach.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Joyce Cravens, Grandpa Gerald Weekley, and Grandma Ruth Chadwick, and an aunt Nancy Richardson.
James is survived by his wife Sharla Weekley, his parents, Jan and Phil Middleton, a brother, Paul Weekley, aunt and uncle, Vicki and Jack Smith, Grandpa Don Luttrell, mother-in-law, Betty Henry, a cousin Russ Horton and wife Kelly and family, Grandma Margaret Weekley, uncle Jerry Weekley, his father, Glen Weekley and wife Kay, a brother, Millard Middleton and wife Vicky, three sons, John Dillard and wife Joy, Justin Dillard and Krystal Miracle, and Jackson Weekley; a daughter, Tashiana and Tracy Nixon; three grandchildren, Zayden Dillard, Xavier Dillard, and Heaven Miracle.The family requests that memorials be made to Solaris Hospice.
A memorial service for James will be held at a later date.
