James V. Touchstone, Jr., 86, of Coldspring, TX. passed away on June 5, 2012, at Odyssey Hospice at the Hamptons in Houston. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Friday, June 8, at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. James was born on January 31, 1926, to James and Maudie Touchstone in Bangs.
In 1946 James married his childhood sweetheart, Mary Alyce Trigg in Brownwood, and together they raised their two daughters, Ann and Jamey. James proudly served his country during WWII in Europe as a Radar Technician with the Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his daughters, Ann Parker and husband Philip of Cypress, TX. and Jamey Ullrich and husband Charles of Spring, TX.; grandchildren, Sherrie Maxey of Houston,TX., Gina Lester of Cypress, TX., Penny Parker of Houston, TX., Paige Chisum of Humble, TX., Jordon Ullrich of Houston, TX. and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
