Graveside services for James Rogers, age 63, of Brownwood, Texas formerly of Big Spring will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. The family will receive friend 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
James Dee Rogers was born on July 31, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Dee Lawson and Margaret Frances Pierce Rogers. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Brownwood for the past ten years and had previously lived in Big Spring.

Son: True Rogers and wife Marci of Midland, Michigan
Two Grandchildren: Tansley and Marcellous Rogers of Midland Michigan
Sisters: Nancy Whitwell of Austin, Texas
Carrol Weathermon of Brownwood, Texas
Niece: Tiffany Whitely of Austin, Texas
Nephew: Joshua Rogers of Brownwood, Texas
Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sharon Rogers.
