James “Jim” L. Burnett 1938 – 2018
James Leroy Needham Burnett, 79, passed away on March 12, 2018 at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on May 18, 1938 to Leroy and Iris Needham and his adoptive parents, John Hardy and Cleo Burnett. He was born in Sonora, Texas.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Iris Needham; John and Cleo Burnett; first wife in love Linda Gayle Short Burnett, son Daniel Wayne Burnett, grandson Kade Amon Cauble, sisters Charlene Buechler, Gail Burnett Spencic and Kitty Lou Anderson.
Jim is survived by his wife in second love Anna Marie Gonzalez Palafox Burnett, brother Nathan Good and sisters Patsy Ann Freeman & Carolyn Holmes. His children, Michael E. Palafox, J. Hardy and Gaby Burnett, Kimberly and Donald Bredemann, Shannon and Shawn Cauble, Samuel and Kathleen Burnett, Wesley and Amy Burnett & Tina and Derrick Hunter. Jim had eighteen grandchildren and a great grandson.
Memorial service to be held at: Tatum Church of Christ, 610 2nd St. April 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Tatum, New Mexico.
