James Harley Watson, age 76, of Brownwood and formerly of Bangs passed away at his home on Saturday, May 30, following a lengthy illness.
He was born November 20, 1943 in Nebraska and after completing high school, he attended a Bible school and began a non-denominational evangelistic ministry that carried him all over the world. He formerly served the Worship Center in Brownwood for a period of time. While in Bangs, he attended the New Testament Holiness Church.
He is survived by his spouse, Nancy Wyche of Brownwood, a sister, Barbara Stoeber of Denver, Colorado, a nephew, Curtis Stoeber of Denver, Colorado and several half-brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie White officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
