James A. “Hoot” Kelso, age 66, of Zephyr and formerly of Midland died peacefully Thursday morning at his home in Zephyr following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday in the Zephyr Cemetery with Bro. Brian Hall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
He was born January 28, 1943 in Sunnyside, Washington the son of James A. Kelso Jr. and Ruth Brumley Kelso. He was a truck driver most of his life and served in the U. S. Navy. He attended Haven of Hope prior to his illness. He had lived in Zephyr for the past 8 years moving from Midland.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Linda Hamil of Zephyr
