Outstanding Sportsman Team of the Year – Luis Robles
Luis Robles was a starter on a Howard Payne offensive line that led the ASC in sacks allowed. He is also a member of the HPU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
First Team Defense – LB – Jason Disney
Jason Disney led the ASC in total tackles with 113 (11.3 per game) on the year, 21 more than the next ASC player. . He forced two fumbles, had one interception and a sack. He recorded a season high 17 tackles versus East Texas Baptist.
First Team Defense – DB – Kris Mack
Kris Mack led the ASC in pass breakups with 20 (2.0 per game). He had 47 tackles, 28 solo, and two forced fumbles on the season. He posted season high nine tackles versus ETBU and had five pass breakups versus Wayland.
Second Team Offense – WR – Colby Mica
Colby Mica made an All-Conference team for the second time in his career leading the Jackets in receptions (62) and yards (831) and finishing fourth in the ASC in receptions per game (6.2) and fifth in receiving yards per game (83.1). Broke the HPU record for receptions in a career with 213.
Second Team Offense – OG – Cyle Johnson
Cyle Johnson was a starter on a Howard Payne offensive line that led the ASC in sacks allowed.
Second Team Offense – OT – Marcus Muldrow
Marcus Muldrow was a starter on a Howard Payne offensive line that led the ASC in sacks allowed.
Second Team Offense – PK – Joshua Martinez
Joshua Martinez connected on 12 of 21 attempts and a long field goal of 49 yards. He broke the Howard Payne record for field goals in a career with 32. His 4-for-4 performance versus Louisiana College earned him ASC Player of the Week and D3football.com Team of the Week honors. He is the sixth kicker to hit four field goals in a game in ASC history and just the third to go 4-for-4.
Second Team Defense – DL – Donald Preston
With his third appearance on an All-Conference team, Donald Preston recorded 51 tackles and was seventh in the ASC in sacks with seven.
Honorable Mention – Offense – TE – DeAndre Walker
DeAndre Walker had six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns. He was also a starter on a Howard Payne offensive line that led the ASC in sacks allowed.
