He was married in 1942 to Eloise Koonce Homesley and she preceded him in death on October 4, 2012. He was a self-employed contractor for many years and served as a Staff Sgt. In the Army Air Corp during World War II.
He was born December 23, 1921 in Belton, Texas to the late Herbert Monroe Homesley and the late Lennie Mae Wseman Homesley.
Jack is surived by his three daughters, Khaki Frost of Belton, Texas, Ginger (Dan) Peterson of Albuquerque, NM, Pattie (John) Williams of Destin, FL.; two sons, Scott (Jan) Homesley of Paris, Tennessee., John (Cathy) Homesley of Heath, Texas; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nanci Hallmark; son, Jack S. Homesley; Sister, Mary Lynn Kaigler; and brother Ralph Homesley.
Local arrangements were handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tennessee.
The visitation will be at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood, Texas, 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM. The graveside service and Interment will be held at 1:00 PM, October 19, 2015 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas.
