Is it time to really consider making some changes? Have some of your trees and shrubs reached the end of their aesthetically pleasing life span? Can they make it through another summer with current water restrictions? Is it time to reduce the amount of lawn and add more ground cover?

If the answer is yes it is time to make some changes then mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 6, 2014. That is the date of the second Lunch-N-Learn program which will be held from 12:00 p.m.until 1:00 p.m. at the Brown County Extension Office located at 605 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood.

The topic for the May 6th program will be Yard/Fruit Tree Replacement. Mr. Larry Womack from Womack Nursery in Deleon will present the program. There is a $25 registration fee payable at the door. The registration fee will cover attendance at all four of the remaining Lunch-N-Learn series programs which include:

June 10 – Native Plants to Include in Your Landscape

July 8 – Non-Invasive Plants

September 9 – Plants for Hummingbirds and Butterflies
