Ira Kavin Griffin passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Songbird Lodge in Brownwood after a lengthy illness. He was born September 27, 1960 in Brownwood to Herman and Frances Hall Griffin. Kavin was a lifelong resident of Brownwood.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Shelton and husband Timothy; and his son Justin Griffin and wife Taylor. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aydin and Konnar Griffin, and Waggoner and Stryker Shelton; his brothers, Roy Griffin and wife Glenda, Larry Griffin and wife Mary, and Dewayne Griffin; his sisters, Dona Delso, Nancy Griffin, Rosie Morris and husband Rick, and Tina Bradley and husband Joel; sisters-in-law, Betsy Griffin and Thea Griffin; 18 nieces and nephews; and 27 great nieces and nephews.
Kavin is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Danny Griffin and Jerry L. Griffin.
