Funeral services for Myrtle Inez Morrow will be Sunday January 10. 2010 at 2:30 PM in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. A private interment will follow at the Stag Creek Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas. Mrs. Morrow was born March 3, 1914 in Clio, Texas which was near Owens, Texas to Rufus and Myrtle McMurry Pierce.
She passed away Tuesday January 5, 2010 at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center at the age of 95. She was married to J.T. Morrow May 5, 1939 who preceded her in death. Mrs. Morrow was a fun loving and happy person. She was a very creative seamstress and taught school for a number of years.
She is survived by two daughters Martha and husband Ray Sheppard of Brownwood, Texas and Sharon Hill of Ft. Worth, Texas, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers-in law Brian and wife Knola Morrow and Bill Shanlin, one sister-in-law Mary Pierce. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother Dudley Pierce, a sister Ima Dee Shanlin, and a son-in-law Marion Hill.
