Indoor_Outdoor_Picnic_logoThe Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 4th Annual Indoor/Outdoor Expo presented by Home Depot on April 9th from 10am to 4pm at the Brownwood Coliseum with a great lineup of vendors, exhibitors, demonstrations, and just plain fun.

The theme for 2011 is “Picnic in the Park” and the show will offer everything needed for springtime work and play.  Vendors and exhibitors will offer a variety of products and services related to home improvement, gardening, recreation, home décor, and much more.

New for 2011 is a lineup of “how-to” demonstrations including:

  • 11:00 AM – “Spring Home Improvement Tips” Presented by Home Depot
  • 12:30 PM – “Sneak Peak” Dazzling Divas!
  • 1:00 PM – “Staging Your Home to Sell”  Presented by Coldwell Banker & Associates
  • 2:00 PM – “Going Green to Save Green” Presented by Home Depot
  • 3:00 PM – “Top Ten Spring Gardening Tips”  Presented by Weakley – Watson True Value Hardware
  • Archery Demonstrations Outside All Day

Another featured attraction at this year’s show will be a charity dunking booth.  Those in attendance will get a chance to dunk Mayor Stephen Haynes, City Manager Bobby Rountree, Brownwood Police Chief Mike Corley, Brownwood Finance Director Walter Middleton, and other local officials.  All proceeds collected at the dunking booth will be donated to various local charitable organizations.

Tickets to the show will cost $2 each at the door, but complementary tickets are now available in at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce office located at 600 E.
