Ina Jo Hood, our mama, was welcomed home by our Lord on November 7, 2013. She was a dedicated servant of God and His church, serving in all humility. She adored her family and loved all unselfishly, especially little children.
She was born June 23, 1931, in Bloomer, Arkansas to Sarah and Harvey Beshears. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lonnie, both parents and her two brothers Ed and Francis. She is survived by her sister, Alma Wall, of Porterville, California; three daughters, Ramona Patrick and husband Curtis of Boyd, Texas, Diane Pellin and husband John, Linda Duncan and husband Scott, of Coleman, Texas. She had six grandchildren, Kelly, Summer, Sarah, Jason, Jon Paul and Elizabeth. She had many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She left a wonderful legacy and her sweet spirit remains in all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Davis-Morris Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Her life will be celebrated with a service at Davis-Morris Funeral Home on Sunday, 2:00 PM with graveside service to follow at Jordan Springs Cemetery.
