FoxHughFuneral services for Hugh H. Fox, 98, of Euless and formerly of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial with military and Masonic Rites will follow at Bangs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Fox went peacefully Home Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Hugh Hannon Fox was born January 5, 1918 in Happy, Texas to Claude Hannon and Bessie Gladys (Hendrix) Fox.  Hugh proudly served his country in the Army 131st Field Artillery, Medical BN. 36th Division.  While he was in the Army, he married Beatrice Smith on February 8, 1942.  She preceded him in death in March, 1999.  After leaving the service, Hugh owned and operated Fox Chemical Supplies here in Brownwood until his retirement.  Hugh was a dedicated member of Brownwood Masonic Lodge A.F.&A.M. #279, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine, American Legion, VFW and DAV.

Hugh leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Pamela Flynn of Ft. Worth, granddaughter Katie Norton Botik and husband, Marc; great granddaughter Lucy Elizabeth Botik, two step-grandsons Shelley Norton and Wylie Norton of San Angelo, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers and sisters George C. Fox, Claude H. Fox, Iola Marie Davis and Jimmie Lou Davis.
