Hubert Brandstetter, age 87, of Early passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in Temple.
Celebration of Life for Hubert will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel; private interment at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Hubert was born to Walter Eugene and Katie (Smith) Brandstetter on August 20, 1928, in Coleman County, Texas. He retired from Santa Fe Rail Road after 42 years. Hubert loved working on small engines.
Hubert is survived by his wife, Wilda Brandstetter of Early; 2 daughters, Cathy Brandstetter and Shirl Gentry both of Rowlett; son, Stephen Brandstetter of Brownwood; 5 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Curtis Brandstetter.He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Danny Brandstetter; and 1 brother.
