Howard Payne junior guard Tresta Donahoo was named the American Southwest Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.

Howard Payne junior point guard Tresta Donahoo averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.5 steals to pace a 2-0 showing at the Trinity University tournament in San Antonio, Texas. Donahoo, who takes the division’s top weekly award for the third time this season, had a 16-point, seven-rebound, six-assist performance in a 62-54 win over Carthage. She also hit 9 of 10 free throws against the Lady Reds. Her play has helped HPU to three straight wins.
