Howard Payne University’s Yellow Jacket Cheer Squad will host a junior cheer camp on Friday, February 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Area-wide boys and girls in grades K-6 are invited to participate in this camp, where they will have the opportunity to learn from college cheerleaders while interacting with other children in the community.
During the 2.5-hour session on Friday evening the junior cheerleaders will learn a dance and cheer. On Saturday, the group will have the opportunity to perform during halftime at the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets basketball game at the Brownwood Coliseum.
