The Howard Payne volleyball team fell in three games to visiting Schreiner University Saturday afternoon in the Brownwood Coliseum.
Taking Schreiner to the limit in game one 23-25, the Lady Jackets dropped the next to game 20-25 to end the match.
Tami Tamika Heline led with 11 kills and 10 digs for Howard Payne. Kristin Hammond had 13 digs.
Amy Cardwell and Amber Cantu-Curry each had 14 assists and Cathie Kilmartin had 5 total blocks.
Tiffany Miller led Schreiner with 11 kills.
The Lady Jackets fall to 8-16 overall and 6-9 in ASC play, while Schreiner improves to 16-11 overall and 10-6 in ASC action.
Howard Payne will play at home on Monday against Sul Ross State University.
