Several incoming Howard Payne University Freshmen came to Good Samaritan Ministries as a service project on Saturday, August 22nd.
The students packed boxes of food for students who had been on the summer Food for Thought program to provide additional nutrition in the next few weeks before the regular Food for Thought program begins. They also sorted and hung clothing, sorted and cleaned toys and did some minor cleaning.
“With so many hands to help, we were able to get so much done,” said Misty Bowers, Communications Director for GSM. “We love partnering with our HPU community throughout the year and know that this is just the first of many opportunities to combine their heart for missions with our local mission.”
