The men & women HPU soccer teams traveled to Tyler on Thursday seeking to improve their records.
The men played the University of Texas at Tyler late Thursday evening and experienced a weather delay at one point during the game. The Jackets take the lose with a 4-1 final score.
The men now have a 4-4 record for the season and are 3-2 in American Southwest Conference action.
The Jackets play on the road Saturday against Concordia University in Austin.
The Lady Jackets also struggled losing to University of Texas at Tyler with a final score of 7-1.
This takes the women to a record of 3-5-1 for the season and 2-2-1 in conference.
They will also face Concordia University at Austin on Saturday.
