Howard Payne University’s School of Music and Fine Arts presents a Senior Art Exhibit for Michael Hatcher featuring his original paintings and photography. The exhibit will be held in the Doakie Day Art Center from Monday, April 12, through Wednesday, April 14, open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Hatcher is a senior art communications major from Midlothian, Texas. His photography features night scenes lit by moonlight and/or artificial lighting.
“Normal photography just captures a moment in time,” he says, “but by using these techniques I can make the composition come to life.”
Hatcher’s paintings “reflect the more free-flowing nature and vibrant colors of street art.”
This exhibit is free and open to the public.
