Howard Payne University President Dr. Bill Ellis and University Nurse Jamie Skaggs presented a check in the amount of $5,104.27 to representatives from the Brownwood Regional Medical Center James B. N. Walker Cancer Center.
This was the amount of money raised through the Fourth Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk-a-Thon at HPU. The check presentation was made on the steps of HPU’s Packer Administration building on Thursday, November 19.
The event was deemed a great success, eliciting the highest level of participation and fund-raising to date.
