Howard Payne University’s School of Music and Fine Arts will present a pair of senior recitals next week.
A piano recital for Matthew Ramirez will be held Sunday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Brownwood.
Ramirez is a church music major from Burleson, Texas, who will be graduating in May. He will be performing selections by: Beethoven, Chopin, Fauré, Debussy and Solyom. He is a student of Dr. Elizabeth Wallace, professor of music.
HPU will also presents a senior recital featuring Kris Redus, percussion. The recital will be held Monday, April 12, at 8:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Brownwood.
Redus is music major from Bay City, Texas, who will be graduating in May. He will be performing selections by: Rosauro, Witlock, Kaper, Samuels, Espel, Sollins and Davis. He is a student of Dr. Juan Alamo, adjunct professor of music.
